Technical Acid Casein

Technical acid casein is a porous substance that appears in the form of dense grains that can take any shape. In cross-section, the diameter of casein grains does not exceed 5 mm. The color of technical casein is uniform and can vary from pale yellow to a richer yellow. It is produced by the coagulation of protein from fresh skimmed cow’s milk.
Applications
Acid casein is used in the chemical, textile, wood processing, cellulose-paper, perfumery, and pharmaceutical industries.
It has wide-ranging applications in the production of waterproof paints, dyes, varnishes, putties, self-leveling mixtures, plastics, cosmetics, aluminum foil, and more.
Acid casein is also widely used due to its adhesive properties. Its use with modern labeling equipment ensures effective bonding, even at very high speeds.
It is also used as a binder in the production of adhesive paints, for bonding wood and paper products, artificial leather, and fabrics.
Casein paints can be applied to various surfaces, including wood and plaster. Casein can be used as a stabilizer/emulsifier in various emulsions.
